Just spoke to a lovely lady called Jade from virgin holidays. She was excellent dealt with my booking very well and answered all my questions. We have to understand that these people are working from home and 95% are furloughed so cannot work until it’s safe. I give virgin holidays 100% and will always use them for as long as I can. These people have been verbally abused for something that is not in their control. The virus didn’t just land on virgins door. I understand that there is 1000s of people waiting for refunds but if I had gone on the holiday then lost my job I would be in the same situation. Thank you Virgin you do a fantastic job

Virgin holidays (updated from 1 to 3)

I’m totally at my wits end now with Virgin Holidays. No way of speaking to them and due to hand my balance I’ve on 12 may. Been trying since March to speak to them. Logged into our booking the other day and the last leg of our delta flight had disappeared. Spoke to delta in 10 mins who cannot see it. It’s appeared back in our virgin booking now but still not showing in delta. Do you seriously expect us to hand another £7500 over when we’ve no idea of what we’re paying for and no means of speaking to you. Sort it out at a senior level. I feel for your poor colleagues in the frontline having to deal with this right now as your customer treatment strategy is nothing short of disgusting. I believe they are breaking their side of the contract.Updated 12 may. Virgin got in touch and we finally got to speak to a lady who has been extremely helpful and accommodating in helping us. It is disappointing we got to this point but I cannot fault the way this lady is trying to help and I think this is the service people have come to value from virgin holidays before this crisis hit. I will update once we have a final resolution.

virgin redeemed

Holiday cancelled in March and still waiting for refund. Also have one booked in June 2021. I have messaged virgin today and asked if that money could be transferred to my other booking and the remaining to be paid off my sons booking. This was completed in under an hour. Virgin thank you for doing this for me. Takes the worry off about paying for next years holiday

I was due to fly out to Las Vegas 22nd…

I was due to fly out to Las Vegas 22nd of March. At the time we were advised a credit note only would be issued, if I wanted a refund I would have to go through my holiday insurance due to this being a medical pandemic.I managed today to speak to Emma who was working from home. She was absolutely amazing and even though she couldn’t deal with my query she reassured me I would be contacted today by her supervisor.As promised that did happen and I’m now getting a full cash refund. I totally can understand people’s frustration but when you do finally get through to somebody they are so helpful. I gave my 5 stars for the Virgin Colleagues having to work from home and dealing with very concerned customers at this stressful time. It definitely is not a reflection on Richard Branson as you should be ashamed of yourself

The status of my holiday has been up in the air and there has been a lot of waiting which is completely understandable given the amount of customers Virgin has.. I finally received an email on Thursday saying it will not go ahead and we had been given the choice to rebook or have a refund.. they provided 2 forms for each of the choices and once filled in said virgin would contact us by phone.They called this morning and I spoke with a lovely man called Josh, he managed to rebook to the dates we wanted and the difference in price was minuscule to our delight. He made everything so easy even though they are all working from home. Before you leave that 1 star I think you should maybe all think about the pressure the staff are under, they are trying their best with limited resources from home, be patient! A lot of us are in the same boat so think before you fly off the handle!

Needing to change our travel plans due…

Needing to change our travel plans due to needing to postpone our wedding in Las Vegas due to this awful virus we was very stressed not been able to get through to Virgin to change our travel dates as without changing our travel dates we couldn’t re arrange our wedding or our reception in the U.K. today we got in touch with a lovely lady from virgin holidays called becki. She couldn’t have been more helpful she sorted our new dates out for me and my family and she even sorted out my fiancé’s best mans travel dates for him as well. She couldn’t do enough. We was nearly a week trying to get hold of someone though so I think virgin should do something about this I know they are extremely busy but there’s a lot of people who Need their money back or travels changing due to this uncertain time

Fantastic customer experience.

In today’s holiday market place revolving around the internet it is astonishing that companies still have a presence on the high street. I would like to comment on my experience with Virgin holidays in Belfast. Having lost the will to live trolling through the limited number of travel agents and the mind blowing options online I discovered Jo at Donegal Place in Belfast. This lady is a rare commodity to find in any business today. Someone who from the minute you walk into the store gives you her all with no constraint on her time to ensure you get the best holiday suited to your budget. Bottom line, If you want a exceptional personal experience when booking your next trip call into Jo you will not be disappointed.

Milton Keynes Store was Faultless

Went into the Virgin store in Milton Keynes just yesterday (Sunday 01st March) and was greeted with a very warm welcome. From the moment we entered the store the staff were very friendly and professional. There's not many places make you a drink upon your entry into their showroom. Anne-Marie was fantastic. Couldn't have been more helpful. We have booked our 2 week trip to Thailand for later this year. She carefully went through all the details, not only of the holiday itself but also all the health regulations, especially with coronovirus so high on everyone's agenda. I have to say, I was really surprised at the level of service they have offered. I hope the holiday was as smooth as the process in store.

best holiday company

We have booked 3 times with Virgin now and have been so happy with service received by all staff, whether they be in the call centre, on the plane or at check in. All staff have been super helpful and always answered any query or done any changes with out question.
