I rang TUI today on the 0203 number to request a refund for my holiday of 15th May 2020 to Tenerife. I didn’t expect to get through. But to my surprise I got through first time, after about a 45 minute wait. The call was answered by a lovely, helpful welsh girl who agreed to process my refund there and then and told me I should receive the refund within 7 days. I will update this site if/when refund received.

Just been refunded in full due to go 2nd April was promised refund 23 March waited and waited called couple of times but nothing then tried to give me credit refund on Wednesday called agian got a good guy 2 days later refund £5141.84 it all depends who you get on other side of the phone

I don’t normally leave reviews but as Tui are getting a lot of negative comments I thought I’d share my experience.We were booked with first choice and were due to fly to Mexico 30/03/20 and when it was cancelled we immediately decided we would prefer our money back due to the uncertainty surrounding future travel abroad.I left it a number of weeks to contact Tui as they were obviously snowed under. I received the refund credit email a couple of weeks ago. On Monday 18/5/20 I decided to call and try and get through. I called a few times and was cut off but eventually got onto hold and was advised the wait was at least an hour. I was on hold for 1hr 45 mins, which is pretty poor in this day in age. You should at least be told where you are in the queue or have the option of a call back.However the reason for the 4 rating was I eventually got through to a gentleman called Timmy who processed my refund in around 20 mins, the money was in my account the next day. He explained I wouldn’t benefit from the 20% offer but I just preferred the money back.Hope this of help to someone, I think there is a lot of scaremongering regarding Tui in the press. Clearly they want to keep hold of everyone’s money if they can which is why the 20% has been offered but I can confirm that once I’d spoken to someone the refund was processed quickly and without fuss.

Cruise and Flight only cancelled mid March the people at the TUI shop told me I would get a full refund in 14 days received nothing and tried to contact TUI but could not get through sent Emails and Text but no reply very frustrated then on Wednesday the full refund was in our Bank so all is well so a happy Bunny Don’t give up

Booked this holiday a week before we are due to fly on21/06/22. We love magnolia resort , been there several times ,and just wanted to book for 2023 .

Firstly the five stars are for the Welsh bloke i got to deal with my refund last week sorted out my refund without any hassle even when he put me on hold and my phone went dead i thought here we go but no he phoned me straight back and told me the refund had gone through and I would be later up to 10 days later then two minutes later i got an e.mail confirming it .5 days later it's in my account so thanks to him for sorting that out just never caught his name.

After the 50th call this week finally got through today. I didn't wait for the credit note but tui happy to process my refund. I have checked booking status online and it's now changed to cancelled, fingers crossed money be back in 7-14 days will update review then.

We were due to fly in May to our holiday in Greece, which was cancelled in April. We haven’t received our code until our departure day so we decided to try ring customer service.Indeed we’ve been waiting 20 min in the line but the assistant was very helpful and in couple of hours we received our code for credit note or refund.The next day we’ve rang customer service to ask for a full refund instead of credit note, and we’ve waited 1h20 min which is understandable at the amount of people are ringing everyday.The lady that answered was again very helpful and respectful, after our conversation we’ve received an email confirmation of our refund.It took 2 days to have our money back into account.We will definitely rebook our holidays with TUI ,as soon as it will be safe to travel ,as I thought they were very professional.
