Expensive but high quality items

Expensive items which are high quality if you are on a budget. I ordered a medium purse and it arrived in a large box which protected it well. Perhaps wasteful but ultimately the product arrived in perfect condition.

Fab Service efficient and speedy

Ordered online a birthday present for my mother , her birthday is next week. Let her see the bag herself online she chose it. She is normally one to buy from your concessions in department stores like Fenwick or John Lewis. Ordered online, easy to navigate and wide choice of bags and then went to payment decided to spread the cost so I pay no interest accepted for that. Order acknowledged. Clear terms and conditions advising my email constituted an offer which would not be accepted until despatch was confirmed. My first payment was acknowledged by the credit provider for the interest free term. Order despatch yesterday email and notification of courier and reference number and item received this afternoon. Nicely packaged not much waste with packaging, good quality product and my mother is happy with this and something else I also purchased for her Perfume. Thank you very much for such great service.

Ordered a handbag

Ordered a handbag, it went missing with another useless company DPD. Radley slow to do anything and when they did now want me to wait 21 days for a refund and this was a present for mothers day so no present and no money to buy a replacement. Will never order from them againUpdate: Radley have responded in a more positive way and sorted out the delivery of the handbag and given me financial compensation which I appreciate so thank you.I suggest they look for an alternative courier firm in future!

I am surprised at the poor reviews here and can only believe they are a very small representation of the company's customers. I have, on and off, been buying Radley bags for years. The aren't the only brand I buy but they make up quite a few of my present and past collection: I now own two Grosvenors totes (both years old but in great shape still), two Pocket bags- an old medium sized red and a new blue large with the new extended ziparound feature, a credit card wallet recent acquisition too with the delightful scotty dog featuring heavily on the front as an abstract part of the design. Plus there were other older Radley bags that I no longer use and sold years ago, and some beautiful bags I bought decades ago under the Tula and HiDesign labels which I no longer have because I just ran out of steam with them, not because they broke or were poor quality. Basically, I go back a long way with this brand in its many guises.I have always found their bags to be good quality and good value for the price compared to higher priced, so called designer bags that are all brand name, logos and pretentiousness over true quality for the price charged (e..g, Michael Kors). I have never felt the need to return any of them to the shop due to poor quality materials, sub-standard workmanship or shoddy customer service. The shops are staffed by polite and helpful assistants. It's always a pleasure to go to the Blue-water store where I always receive a warm welcome.

I'm really surprised at the opinions on…

I'm really surprised at the opinions on here, as I shop regularly at Radley (the outlet at Dalton Park) and the customer service in the shop is second to none. I have had an issue with a couple of my bags and they offered to get it fixed or I could exchange up to the value that I had paid. On the second occasion which was just the weekend gone, they had procured me a new bag from Leeds which had been delivered in lieu of my other bag (the strap had started to fray) - absolute no quibble at all. I cannot praise the staff highly enough - they are just fantastic and a real credit to the Radley name.

Bought a large ink blue pocket bag at on-line Radley and picked it up at Bluewater. The staff there are lovely. The bag is also a nice size with plenty of space for carrying around essentials. I have a medium in red too, one I bought many years ago, which has a lovely silky lining, which this one doesn't (more a needlecord lining instead). Over time the bag should relax to fit more in. I find it a very useful addition to my bag collection. For some reason Radley have stopped making their Grosvenor bags which are excellent. Not sure why that did that.

No quibble replacement - great customer service

I bought a bag at the Bath store in the sale in January. When the strap attachment broke a short time later it was replaced with a new bag - no quibbles. When the same thing happened again recently, I was given a credit for the full amount I had paid 9 months before together with heartfelt apologies. Very pleased indeed. Impressive customer service.

I’m very surprised at the bad reviews…

I’m very surprised at the bad reviews here - my experience has been totally different. I got a bag as a Xmas gift, the lining started to rip away from inside zip pocket. I emailed customer service with pictures and they sent me a prepaid returns label to send it back for repair the next day. It did take 6 weeks for them to repair & return the bag but it’s back as good as new. Really couldn’t have asked for better service.

i called into the Liverpool shop on Saturday 27th July had the most wonderful customer service from a young man and lady so helpful with my purchase of a suitcase and arrange home delivery. I wish all the staff I met during the rest of the shopping had the same customer skills

Excellent experience at Radley’s in Bluewater yesterday. The assistance I received was superb. The lady, no name badge, spent much time trying to find a suitable handbag for me. She recommended one which was not in stock and I ordered it online with her assistance. Furthermore, it arrived at home, (free postage), in less than twenty hours after my order was placed. It was just what I had been looking for. Thank you unnamed lady in Radley’s in Bluewater. You are an asset to the company. A very cheery person.
