With all of the scam sites out there, I always do my research before buying anything outside the US, so if you are one of those people like me, I’m hoping my review will help confirm that this is definitely a legitimate company. I’ve purchased 2 dresses so far, both of which I love and fit great. Would definitely recommend this company.

I cannot put into words how happy I am with my dress! I bought the Rhonda's Revenge in Black Watch tartan for Burn's Night and was inundated with compliments the whole evening, I truly felt a million dollars. I usually find with Vintage reproduction companies that the wiggle dresses are either too baggy or an odd shape with the waist being too small and massive on the hips but this dress hugged my figure perfectly and really accentuated my hourglass figure. I'm really looking forward to seeing what new prints they bring out for this design for Spring as it's by far my favourite dress. The delivery was also very fast and the staff were really helpful and quick with their replies as I wasn't too sure about sizing at first! I highly recommend :))))

I could not be happier with the Dee Dee Ivory dress! I ordered it on Friday night and it arrived today, it’s a perfect fit, the material is an amazing quality. I have searched and searched for the perfect tea length dress for my wedding and still cannot believe I’ve managed to find one £1,000 cheaper than a bridal store! Definitely definitely recommend!

If i could give 6 stars i would. I’ve always love British Retro dresses but always put it off as they are a little pricier than what I’m used to. But boy oh boy how foolish I’ve been. I am totally in love with the dress. It’s beautifully made, i feel amazing in it – the neckline and boning is so flattering. Bought for a wedding and i guarantee I’m going to feel like a princess all day.Do reccomend using the size chart!

Took money quick enough , on the Sunday .Email sent stating instead of 3 days looking at 3 - 5 days @ christmas time .No tracking details given .On the thursday I messaged 2 , then tried calling on the Friday , just have answering machine.Function on Saturday , to go to and no dress !!So in the end I had to keep going through Facebook for communication. There communication skills are non existent. Just get told send it back when it comes, and we will refund ..Doubt il be using them again!@

Absolutely love the dress but admin not so good. So well made and very good value. Only dropped a star as first delivery was wrong dress and whilst helpful re replacement they were disorganised and took longer than they should to get replacement out so took nearly a month to get the dress.

I received my first order which was a halterneck dress. I was apprehensive when I initially placed my order as most of my online orders turn out to be poor quality. However, I was so very pleased! The colour and shades were rich and beautiful; the pattern lovely. The cut was perfect and the well-thought of 'stretchy' section at the back ensured no gaping in the chest region. Even the two little brooches I also ordered arrived in pretty little bags; a lovely touch. I will definitely be having another look at the website for my next order. I'm not averse to paying a little more when the quality is good and it certainly beats the larger chains' poorly made clothes with cheap material. Very much recommended :)

I ordered spontaneously... Last minute... Before a wedding. The dress was delivered to an another address at my request, much faster than expected and it was simply stunning! It was a perfect fit that was very flattering! I never buy clothes online, so this really was unusual for me, but I'm so happy I took the chance! I'll be back

Always a delight receiving a British Retro dress. This time I bought a cute Little Nell dress, i think its the best pencil dress I own and I own many. Superbly made, gorgeous fabric and the chiffon scarf really sets it off. A very happy customer.

I was looking for a long tartan skirt and by an accident, I found British Retro website. In the end, I ordered tartan long skirt, belt and petticoat.I ordered size 14 but I normally wear 10-12. Sizing is matching the description! It is a bit too loose in the waist but I was afraid 12 will be too tight.The quality of each of the products is good. Everything looks exactly like on the photos and match descriptions.Customer service was really good and helpful as I needed to receive a package in extra short time - and it came the next morning to me (from London to Glasgow).I'm definitely going to be back for more!If you are still hesitating - you should not! Totally worth every penny I paid!
